Harnessing Hope and Resilience: The True Spirit of Humanity Showcased in the Olympics

I had not intended to watch the Olympics . I kind of forgot about them in the scheme of things- busy lives we have - and talk about challenges , concerns ...People getting ready for Super Bowl, and discussions about conflicts with the half time show , had me wanting to hunker down with a book and a warm blanket , or immerse myself in work.

As night folded around my house, I sat down to work on the website, post about events, etc , and thought , Well, I will just put on the Olympics while I get some work done . As the televsion screen opened to vistas in Italy , with mountain peaks reaching for the sky, and beautful cities of light tucked into valleys , I began to be transported to another world . When the story of Ilia Malinin , the figure skater from Virginia , came on , I found myself slowly putting my computer down , Taking my tea cup in my hands , and settling in to watch .

Ah! But there was to be no " settling in" ! The Stories, the Triumphs, Heartbreaks; the sheer perseverance and dedication of these athletes and their families had me riveted, tearing up , filled with ... something ... unable to describe .

The Beauty and Power of the skiiers - going down a mountain at 90 miles per hour -Gliding, Sliding, cutting into the snow and becoming an embodiment of the force of nature .

And the skaters - Precision and Grace , not just performing - but transforming into ice dances even beyond their maginificent skills - becoming an expression of movement and light , with the delight of snowflakes falling , or birds aflight , but with deep human emotions and raw power and vulnerablity .

Crying I was just crying . Moved to tears and chills , because of being a witness to tthis human side . To Nature expressing itself , reminding us - calling to us :

That we are not here to just deal with nature, use up the resources , see Nature and the world outside of us .

We ARE Nature . nad NATURE has no boundaries, no countries. It has no care about which religion or color or nationality we are .. The expression of nature can be soft , beautiful , healing, or dangerous , dramatic, deadly . The Polarity of nature is seen everyday and everynight , when the dark embraces the light of day . when the day comes to light the dark .

This evidence before our very eyes - able to watch this from afar - with others from all acround the globe. Watching the embraces between opposing athletes and teams . The gratitude and honor of being able to be at such an event - an event that is a world event - superceding , perhaps for just a moment - any rivalry/ hatred /self righteousness /predjudice...

Oh Yes indeed , a warring species we can be - we are wired for survival and our old brains operating from fear/anger/ undisciiplined ego minds. searching for self worth outside ourselves and needing to be something , be somone .belong . and so the power and greed becomes a thing .

BUT , AND , we are reminded , through something like the Olympics , or something like the smallest kindness,or the gathering of people for the highest good of all , the betterment of the world, the seeking of truths, unity , peace - for our Source Connections .

As people come together for a purpose bigger than themselves { although perhaps origninally for their own wellbeing, of course - all good !} something happens .

Just like the force and beauty and energy of Nature , we can create together a beautiful and powerful prescence . A link . An Amplified field . Of Peace , Harmony, Love, Light, Connection Health. Resources Helping one another .Wisdom.

HU- MAN : Bring light to the mind . HUMANITY : Bringing light and Source to the minds of all..

We are Seekers . Let us seek and find the ways to navigate through this intense evolutionary leap, and chaotic, difficult , tranformative time. It is happening . Pathways are opening The weaving thread of unity, of higher frequencies and vibrations of being - new realms of awareness and of living is strong. We must be ready .

Not sure I will have the chance to watch the Olympics again, but I am deeoly grateful for the reminders of Hope , Faith , Resilience, Perseverance, Discipline, Heart Centered Action and ....HumanKindness , which does reside in some form in every heart light on earth.
